Middle East
UK delivery discipline in the Gulf.
The Gulf is delivering some of the most ambitious transformation programmes in the world, at a pace that leaves little room for governance to catch up afterwards. We bring UK public sector delivery discipline — assurance, integrated planning, benefits realisation — to organisations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar, and adapt it to how work actually gets done in the region.
Vision-scale ambition needs portfolio-grade control
National transformation agendas across the Gulf translate into portfolios of hundreds of interdependent initiatives sponsored by different entities. At that scale, the binding constraint is rarely funding or ambition — it is prioritisation, dependency management and reliable information about what is genuinely on track.
We help entities build the portfolio layer above their programmes: a single prioritised pipeline, consistent stage gates, dependency mapping across sponsoring organisations, and executive reporting that distinguishes activity from progress.
Working with local delivery culture
Methodology imported unchanged from London does not survive in Riyadh, Dubai or Doha. Decision-making is often faster and more senior, relationships carry more weight than process, and multinational delivery teams bring several delivery traditions into the same programme.
We adapt: lighter documentation with sharper decision points, governance timed around the working week and the seasons of the calendar, bilingual reporting where required, and an explicit focus on building Emirati, Saudi and Qatari national capability within the delivery team rather than relying indefinitely on expatriate resource.
How we engage
We work on a blended basis — periods on the ground in-region combined with remote delivery from the UK — which keeps senior expertise affordable over a multi-year programme. For longer engagements we mobilise a permanent in-country presence alongside local partners.
